Glenn Miller, former acting chief information officer at the State Department, has joined General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business as senior director of IT and operations.
He will work with federal customers to help them address cloud computing, cybersecurity and digital modernization requirements, GDIT said Wednesday.
Miller stepped in as temporary State Department CIO after Keith Jones stepped down in May of last year while he was serving as principal deputy CIO.
The career Senior Foreign Service member held senior IT roles in Belize City, Frankfurt, Moscow, Seoul and Warsaw during his nearly 31-year career at the department.
He additionally served as office director and division chief for the Bureau of Information Resource Management.
