The Department of Energy is seeking input on a draft solicitation document regarding a data collection program under the Energy Information Administration.
DOE plans to launch an industry competition for the Energy Information Administration Omnibus Procurement V vehicle as a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a 10-year period of performance, according to a notice posted Friday on SAM.gov.
The U.S. government uses EIA’s energy data reports in policymaking, socioeconomic and environmental impact assessments and market efficiency management.
DOE is looking for contractors that can support EIA in program management; survey operations; energy analysis and modeling; IT support; product and service development, production, and marketing; and organizational support.
The department will collect and use feedback on its draft RFP request to finalize a solicitation package for the contract vehicle.
Responses are due Feb.10.
