A Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) subsidiary has received a one-year, $90.2 million contract modification to provide virtualization support for U.S. Army infrastructure network environments that run VMware software applications.
The work is expected to be carried out by Jan. 22, 2024, in Rock Round, Texas, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Dell Federal Systems originally won a $93 million contract in January 2022 to maintain licensed VMware products for the service branch.
The current award applies to all virtual infrastructure network domains under the service branch. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Contracting Command at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois.
