The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has awarded $183 million in modifications to its procurement vehicle for technical and analytical support services, raising the contract’s maximum value to $1.03 billion.
Seven companies hold prime positions on the TASS contract originally announced in August 2018 and valued at $850 million.
A Department of Defense announcement released Friday indicates the latest award has a completion date of August this year and contains task orders that could extend the contract through August 2028.
The incumbent TASS vendors are:
- Avantus Federal, formerly E3/Sentinel
- Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH)
- Centra Technology
- ECS Federal
- ManTech
- Schafer Corp. a Belcan company

These companies were awarded the modifications as DARPA is preparing its next iteration of the acquisition program slated to expire in August.
