MorganFranklin Consulting has added executives Beau Hammond and Asela Wijesiri to its leadership team as managing directors.
Hammond, most recently director of strategy and transformation at MorganFranklin, oversees the finance and technology advisory firm’s efforts in supporting the missions of customers in the global aerospace and defense sector while managing divestitures and carve-outs service lines, MorganFranklin said Tuesday.
He brings to the role his experience integrating and optimizing acquisitions, implementing automation initiatives, fielding target operating models and leading customers through spin-off initiatives.
Hammond previously served as senior director of finance transformation at ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI). His industry career included time at Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).
Wijesiri, former director of government contracting advisory, manages MorganFranklin’s government contract advisory services practice.
He brings to the role over two decades of experience assisting clients with regulatory compliance matters relating to the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Cost Accounting Standards, business system compliance reviews, business process reengineering and government contract readiness assessments, among others.
Wijesiri served as director of finance transformation and accounting operations at Mitre and spent 15 years at Deloitte, where he served as a government contracting senior manager.
