The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded two multiple-award, firm-fixed-price contracts totaling $144 million for airfield-related design, construction and maintenance services.
Head Inc., MRM Construction Services, the AHTNA-SWCP joint venture and Southern-RC-JV-01 will compete for airfield paving design-bid-build and design-build orders worth potentially $99 million contract, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
USACE received six bids for this contract with an estimated completion date of Jan. 9, 2030.
Meanwhile, the Husman Environmental & Construction LLC & RC Construction Co Inc. JV, Relyant Global LLC, and Summers Concrete Contracting will vie for up to $45 million to build and maintain airfields.
Four bids were submitted to USACE for the second contract, which has an estimated completion date of Jan. 9, 2028.
