Caroline Cunningham, a hazard mitigation specialist in the government market, has been appointed an associate vice president at Dewberry and strategy leader for the company’s resilience services business.
She will oversee the unit’s growth and strategic efforts in support of customer projects across the federal, state, local and commercial sectors, Dewberry said Wednesday.
Her responsibilities also include leading the integration of climate considerations into service offerings and supporting projects with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Cunningham most recently served as deputy manager of the FEMA account at global design firm Stantec.
Previously, she was the emergency management planning lead for The Louis Berger Group and hazard mitigation planner for Atkins.
