Boeing (NYSE: BA) will deliver CH-47F advanced multi-mission helicopters to the U.S. Army under a three-year, $497 million contract.
Army Contracting Command received one bid via the internet and will determine work locations and funding with each order of the firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The service branch expects Boeing to complete work by Dec. 30, 2025.
Boeing’s CH-47F is equipped with a common avionics architecture system cockpit and a digital cockpit management system. The heavy-lift cargo helicopter aircraft is designed to provide cargo-handling capabilities and support combat and transport operations.
In October 2021, Boeing secured a $391.4 million contract to update as many as five CH-47F helicopters for the Army.
