Acquia’s Tami Pearlstein: Open Source Could Help Agencies Deliver Modern Digital Experiences

Tami Pearlstein, senior product marketing manager at Acquia, said government agencies looking to deliver modern digital services that meet the needs of customers should consider adopting an open source digital experience platform.

When agencies combine a composable DXP with open source technology, they have access to best-of-breed software and the ability to customize the assembly to suit their requirements,” Pearlstein wrote.

She noted that a composable, open source DXP could help agencies in their efforts to counter security vulnerabilities and provide them comprehensive visibility into how consumers engage with their digital service offerings, helping them glean insights to improve their constituents’ digital experiences.

Pearlstein discussed how open source content management systems like Drupal-powered Acquia CMS could enable agencies to meet their content goals while delivering differentiated and impactful digital experiences.

She also talked about how the city of Boston and an agency in Georgia used Acquia’s platform to accelerate website redesign and cloud migration efforts in support of their mission goals.
