Nazzic Keene, CEO of Science Applications International Corp., accepted her 2022 Wash100 Award during a recent visit by Executive Mosaic founder and CEO Jim Garrettson.
Keene has been chosen five times to the Wash100 list and her selection this year is in recognition of her company’s strategy to invest in and align with areas it believes have the most potential for growth above market.
âNazzicâs rapid ascent to the CEO position of one of GovConâs most identifiable and elite firms has brought her industry-wide recognition as one of the most distinguished names in GovCon,â said Garrettson, who created the prestigious Wash100 Award.
In 2021, Keene steered SAIC through two moves that sought to expand its software and digital transformation portfolios: the purchase of data management company Koverse and the $250 million cash buy of Halfaker & Associates.
Under her leadership, SAIC’s revenue for its 2022 fiscal year grew 5 percent to $7.4 billion from fiscal 2021 figures while earnings were $4.77 per share, compared to the $3.56 posted in the prior year.
The five-time Wash100 winner told Executive Mosaicâs Summer Myatt in a video interview that SAIC’s âGrowth Technology Accelerantsâ are secure cloud, enterprise IT and systems integration and delivery.
Executive Mosaic extends its congratulations to Nazzic Keene and the rest of the SAIC organization.
