Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command is requesting proposals for a potential $100 million single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that will cover procurement of support and sustainment services for meteorology and oceanography information technology software and systems.
The contract will have a five-year ordering period and will support the command in areas of software engineering, sustainment and modernization; software management and support services; software administration; and data architecture and services, according to a notice posted Friday on SAM.gov.
COMNAVMETOCCOM is looking for companies with a background in METOC data architectures and system architectures, software and systems engineering, numerical weather prediction and oceanographic modeling and oceanographic and meteorological sciences.
Contract work is expected to begin on March 1, 2023.
Interested companies have until Dec. 19 to respond to the solicitation notice.
