Matthew Edwards, a two-decade defense and intelligence market veteran, has been appointed vice president of Axient‘s Navy business segment and president of the company’s SEG subsidiary.
He previously led businesses that provide products and services to government customers such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Office of Naval Research, the Office of Naval Intelligence and Naval Air Systems Command, Axient said Monday.
In his new role, Edwards will oversee SEG’s development of systems engineering and integrated air and missile defense threat engineering platforms for military applications.
Axient, formerly known as QuantiTech, supports defense and civilian agencies with integrated offerings in multidomain test and analysis, mission engineering and operations, digital engineering and advanced technologies.
