Bionetics, a Yorktown, Virginia-based engineering and manufacturing services company, has secured a 10-year, $185.8 million contract to manage the U.S. Air Force’s metrology and calibration laboratory in Heath, Ohio.
The company will conduct work in support of the Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory through Nov. 30, 2032, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The AF Life Cycle Management Center is the contracting activity and received five offers for the fixed-price contract. The selected contractor is being awarded $50,302 from Fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance funds.
AFPSL houses numerous testing facilities that support the activities under the AF Base Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
