Seven small businesses will compete for task orders under a five-year, $160 million contract to support metal fabrication, refurbishment and installation projects operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.
USACE received seven offers for the firm-fixed-price contract via online solicitation and will determine work locations and budget upon issuance of each order, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The awardees are:
- Alltech Engineering Corporation
- G&G Steel Inc.
- Hohl Industrial Services Inc.
- J.F. Brennan Company Inc.
- Marine Diving Solutions LLC
- Precision Build Solutions LLC
- Steward Machine Co. Inc.
In a sources sought notice posted on SAM.gov, USACE LRD said the contract covers the delivery of new metal castings and built-up steel components, heat-treated steel components, stainless steel overlays, hard chrome overlays, pressure vessel manufacturing and certification and other related materials.
The contractors will also provide fabrication products such as hydraulic cylinders, maintenance cranes, hydro headgates and tailrace gantry cranes.
Contract work is expected to wrap up by Nov. 20, 2027.
