Tim Bleck, vice president of finance for the defense segment at Oshkosh (NYSE: OSK), has been selected to succeed Executive VP John Bryant as president of Oshkosh Defense.
Bryant will retire on Nov. 1 after a 12-year career with the company and will help with the transition by serving in an advisory capacity through June 30, 2023, Oshkosh said Wednesday.
John Pfeifer, president and CEO of Oshkosh, said Bleck has a deep understanding of the company’s defense business and played a role in the acquisition of Pratt Miller and efforts to win the Next Generation Delivery Vehicle contract from the U.S. Postal Service.
“We are pleased to welcome him into this new role and are confident in his abilities to continue the growth trajectory and success of our Defense segment,” Pfeifer added.
Bleck started his career at Oshkosh in 2006 as a controller within the commercial segment and has held positions of increasing responsibility since then.
Prior to Oshkosh, he previously worked at Schreiber Foods and Deloitte.
