Shannon Miller, a nearly 25-year veteran of Jacobs (NYSE: J), has been promoted to executive vice president and head of the company’s newly formed divergent solutions business focused on delivering data platforms to customers.
Jacobs said Thursday the divergent solutions segment will work with the company’s critical mission solutions and people and places solutions business lines and operate through three units – cyber and intelligence solutions; platform, technologies and software solutions; and technology and innovative solutions.
Bob Pragada, president and chief operating officer of Jacobs, said it was imperative to have a leader to drive growth as the company sets its focus on advancing data-enabled tech platforms aligned with its three-year corporate strategy.
“Our Divergent Solutions unit is a critical part of delivering upon our objectives and commitments and Shannon leans into challenges and coalesces divergent thinking into smart solutions for our clients,” added Pragada.
Miller is a member of Jacobs’ executive leadership team who most recently served as chief growth officer and head of enterprise risk management.
She joined the company in 1998 and has held operations and sales leadership roles in support of customers across various markets, including technology, infrastructure, consumer products, pharmaceutical and infrastructure.
