NASA has issued a presolicitation notice on a potential five-year, $375 million contract vehicle that will consolidate procurement efforts for environmental restoration and compliance services across the space agency.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers technical consultation, contamination detection, sampling and remediation and long-term management of affected environmental media, according to the notice posted Wednesday on SAM.gov.
Selected contractors will also conduct studies, prepare permit applications and arrange plans and reports.
The agency expects work to begin in Feb. 1, 2024, and continue through Jan. 31, 2029.
NASA noted that existing and former environmental restoration and compliance contracts awarded for its nine centers and facilities will not be recompeted.
