Elbit Systems‘ (Nasdaq: ESLT) U.S. subsidiary has received a $107 million order to deliver helmet-mounted night vision systems, spare parts, logistics support and test equipment to the U.S. Army.
The Enhanced Night Vision Goggle–Binocular system is equipped with white phosphor image intensifier tubes designed to help warfighters improve situational awareness and performance during night operations, the company said Wednesday.
ENVG-Bs are embedded with a wireless connection, augmented reality and rapid target acquisition features.
Elbit Systems of America secured the order under a potential $442 million other transaction authority contract originally awarded in 2020.
The subsidiary will perform work at its facilities in Roanoke, Virginia, and expects to begin delivering the systems in 2023.
