He will oversee a team responsible for delivering digital platforms meant to help state and local government agency clients improve the user experience, Maximus said Thursday.
Ilene Baylinson, general manager for U.S. services segment at Maximus, said Shinn’s appointment will further strengthen the team as he brings his experience in cloud computing, digital strategies, cybersecurity and customized software development.
“These skills align perfectly with our company’s commitment to deliver technology solutions that make government work more efficiently,” Baylinson added.
Shinn previously held leadership roles with a focus on the public sector at several tech companies, including Veracode, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and NIC.
