Al Maillet, formerly a vice president at Mercury Systems (Nasdaq: MRCY), has been appointed chief revenue officer at endpoint security company Lynx Software Technologies.
He will report to Lynx CEO Tim Reed and manage strategic account management, sales and go-to-market functions in his new position, the company said Thursday.
While at Mercury, Maillet oversaw the defense technology supplier’s product line sales. He served in sales leadership roles at Qognify, IneoQuest Technologies, Redline Trading Solutions and NextHop Technologies.
He spent nearly 15 years at embedded security software developer Wind River Systems earlier in his career.
“Al’s longstanding experience in the aerospace and defense end markets, with Mercury Systems and Wind River, will help Lynx as we accelerate our organic growth initiatives,” said Reed.
Lynx also announced that Ian Ferguson, who has served as VP of sales on an acting basis, will exclusively focus on his full-time role as VP of marketing and partnerships.
