Phoenix International Holdings will help the U.S. Navy conduct worldwide deep ocean search and recovery operations under a five-year, $112 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The Largo, Maryland-based company will perform engineering and technical support work for the Navy’s Ocean Engineering, Supervisor of Salvage and Diving director, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Phoenix bested two other offerors for the work through a competitive procurement process managed by the Naval Sea Systems Command.
The service branch intends to obligate funds with each task order.
