Peter Hall, a 39-year federal service veteran, announced Thursday in a LinkedIn post that he has moved on to pursue a career in the private sector as senior director of growth at Peraton.
Prior to this appointment, Hall was the National Security Agency’s senior representative to the Department of Defense.
He previously held a short-stint as deputy director of the National Counterterrorism Center and spent three years as chief of the NSA Office of Counterterrorism.
His career at the agency also includes time as acting assistant to the deputy director for analysis and production, chief of the Russia office and chief of the Middle East counterterrorism division.
The former U.S. Army officer also worked at the Department of Defense as senior intelligence representative in the combat zone.
