Mark Serway, interim president and CEO of Hitachi Vantara Federal over the past six months, has been appointed to the dual role on a full-time basis.
The data services provider’s board of directors assigned Serway to temporarily take the helm on top of his chief financial officer duties in March after David Turner resigned.
Serway will be responsible for executing the company’s organizational vision and strategy and overseeing the overall financial and operational functions in his capacity, Hitachi Vantara Federal said Tuesday.
The 30-year industry veteran held the titles of CFO and vice president of operations at the Reston, Virginia-headquartered business for five years.
He previously oversaw financial functions at Govplace, Akima and Paradigm Solutions.
