Blue Delta Capital Partners, a government services market-focused investment firm, has become a minority partner of Edgewater Federal Solutions after the two companies signed a strategic alliance deal.
Frederick, Maryland-based Edgewater entered into the partnership to expand its team and grow its business within the GovCon sector, the company said Tuesday.
As part of the agreement, Blue Delta will have a place on the information technology consultancy’s board of directors.
Richard Yockman, former chief information officer of the Department of Energy Office of Science, established Edgewater in 2002 to support federal customers across IT, cybersecurity and professional service areas.
