Matthew Quinn, a federal service veteran with more than two decades of law enforcement and protective security experience, has been appointed vice president of government solutions at counter-drone technology maker Fortem Technologies.
In his new role, Quinn will lead the development of operational concepts and technology offerings designed to protect national airspace and promote safe travel for commercial drones, Fortem said Tuesday.
Quinn previously served as deputy assistant director for the U.S. Secret Service Office of Protective Operations and managed the law enforcement agency’s global protective program.
He also led the agency’s counter-unmanned aerial system program during his tenure as special agent in charge of the Special Operations Division.
Fortem Technologies is a Pleasant Grove, Utah-headquartered company that offers an artificial intelligence-powered cUAS platform for detection, tracking and disruption of hostile drones.
