Kris Perry, formerly head of research and integration division at Intelligent Waves, has elevated to the role of vice president of engineering at the company.
He will bring to the role over two decades of technological insight and understanding of defense systems and missions to oversee the design and delivery of novel platforms to customers in the U.S. and overseas, Intelligent Waves said Thursday.
Perry will also support the development of Intelligent Waves’ engineers and subject matter experts and help build up the company’s technical expertise.
He previously served as lead architect on the company’s prime contract, worked on projects for Department of Defense customers and formed several teams to improve the firm’s expertise in rapid execution, platform development and technical architecture.
He joined Intelligent Waves in 2017 after spending 15 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a civil service systems engineer. During his military service, he developed systems integration labs and agile processes to facilitate the integration and delivery of new capabilities to all service branches and other mission partners.
