HII (NYSE: HII) will research, develop, test and evaluate emerging technologies for the Defense Security Cooperation Agency under a potential five-year, $127 million task order awarded under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center multiple-award contract.
The company said Wednesday it will develop hardware and software capabilities, conduct research and analysis and provide systems engineering support to help improve the capability of systems integration and the Defense Technical Information Center’s repository.
“This will increase DSCA’s ability to achieve milestone success and realize cost savings while addressing enhancements that will benefit all DOD-administered Security Assistance programs,” said Garry Schwartz, president of the C5ISR business group at HII Mission Technologies.
The DOD IAC offers technical data management and research support to the Pentagon and federal government users and serves the department’s acquisition and science and technology communities by facilitating collaboration to advance innovation and other tech developments.
