V2X (NYSE: VVX), the new company formed out of the merger between Vectrus and Vertex, will support logistics operations at Fort Benning in Georgia under a $264.9 million contract modification from the U.S. Army.
The award falls under the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise procurement vehicle and includes initial obligated funds amounting to $13 million, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
V2X is scheduled to perform the work through Dec. 10.
In February, Vectrus announced a five-year, $250 million task order under the EAGLE contract to continue providing logistics support at the military installation until December 2026.
Vectrus and Vertex closed the companies’ all-stock merger transaction July 5 to form the government services provider now known as V2X.
