Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has won a five-year, $533.8 million contract to manufacture fuze devices for U.S. Army artillery.
The branch’s contracting command received two bids for the M782 multi-option fuze procurement via an online solicitation and expects work under the firm-fixed-price contract to be complete by July 26, 2027, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The M782 device is designed to work with 105 millimeter and 155mm projectile rounds and equipped with modern electronic technologies, according to the Army Picatinny Arsenal.
