Mark Frantz, co-founder of Blue Delta Capital Partners, was presented his first Wash100 Award, the most prestigious and valued award in government contracting (GovCon), during a recent visit to the company’s headquarters in McLean, VA.
Executive Mosaic recognizes Mark Frantz with a 2022 Wash100 Award for his leadership in expanding the firm’s footprint in the federal sector and industry through increased investments and executive onboardings.
Most notably, Blue Delta Capital Partners announced its third fund worth $215 million, back in December, specifically to make growth-stage equity investments in federal government services providers in return for non-controlling ownership positions in such companies. The Blue Delta Capital Fund III was first launched back in 2019 during the announcement of the second fund.
“Raising Fund III in a matter of weeks, and with only one closing, enables us to spend more time working with our existing portfolio companies and partnering with new industry-leading federal companies in 2022 and beyond,” said Mark Frantz.
In addition, the firm’s other investments have continued to support Acclaim Technical Services, a language and intelligence services company, as well as Client Solution Architects, a digital transformation consulting firm.
Commenting on the CSA financing, Frantz said, “We believe CSA’s digital transformation and IT modernization capabilities can scale to new heights at the [U.S. Navy] and the [Department of Defense] with this acquisition of Capstone they just completed.”
Mark Frantz currently serves on the Board of Directors or additional Advisory Boards for a wide range of privately-held growth companies and non-profit organizations. Frantz is also on the Board of Directors for ASGN.
Executive Mosaic is proud to recognize Blue Delta Capital Partners and Mark Frantz for being named a 2022 Wash100 Award winner. As a first-time winner of the most coveted award in GovCon, Frantz has been recognized as one of the most significant members of consequence to the GovCon community and one of the critical executives to watch in the coming year.
