Jonathan Baliff, chairman of the audit committee of Redwire’s (NYSE: RDW) board of directors, has been appointed chief financial officer at the space infrastructure technology company.
He succeeds Bill Read, who has served in the CFO role since August 2020 and stepped down nine months after Redwire went public, the company said Wednesday.
David Kornblatt, who was appointed as an independent director of the Redwire board, will replace Baliff as head of the board’s audit committee.
Baliff was the president of Genesis Park Acquisition, a blank check company that merged with Redwire in September 2021.
He previously served as a board member at Texas Capital Bancshares, CEO of Bristow Group and executive vice president for strategy at NRG Energy.
The U.S. Air Force veteran worked for J.P. Morgan and Credit Suisse earlier in his career.
