Steve Escaravage, an executive vice president with Booz Allen Hamilton, was presented his 2022 Wash100 Award, during a recent visit to the company’s office by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson.
Executive Mosaic recognizes Steve Escaravage as a first-time recipient of the most prestigious and coveted awkward in all of government contracting (GovCon), for leading the development of artificial intelligence technology and tools as well as driving new capabilities to address the global race for AI superiority in the current and future digital battlefield.
During a recent Executive Spotlight interview with ExecutiveBiz, Steve Escaravage discussed the short-term and long-term ethical challenges that will need to be addressed in policy as tech adoption becomes a necessity to gain an edge over our global adversaries.
“As somebody who’s been practicing in the field for quite some time, I agree that we need to adopt controls and safeguards, and there are risks that are somewhat novel related to the technology,” Escaravage explained.
“However, I think there’s a huge upside to making our systems even safer and fairer…There is a real opportunity to make processes better through AI integration, and I’m excited about that.”
Most recently, Steve Escaravage commented on a strategic investment that Booz Allen made in late March with artificial intelligence company Synthetaic to drive to enable Booz Allen’s mission to proliferate AI adoption in the public sector.
“Our investment in Synthetaic provides access to technology that will reduce the time and cost to mission impact from AI solutions, which is absolutely critical in national security, defense, and domestic agendas,” said Escaravage.
Executive Mosaic is proud to recognize Booz Allen and Steve Escaravage for being named a 2022 Wash100 Award recipient. As a first-time winner of the highest honor in all of GovCon, Escaravage has demonstrated a level of success and recognition that can only be recognized by the Wash100 Award and recognized by the GovCon community.
