Hilary Hageman, a 15-year GovCon industry veteran, has been appointed to serve as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), effective July 11.
Hageman, formerly general counsel and corporate secretary of Cubic, will succeed Steven Mahon, who has held the position since 2015 and will retire from SAIC on Sept. 30, the company said Monday.
Her appointment marks her return to SAIC, having previously served as senior VP and deputy general counsel at the Reston, Virginia-headquartered government services contractor.
“As we move forward, I am pleased to welcome Hilary back to SAIC as our new General Counsel. She is an exceptional addition to our leadership team and I look forward to working with her,” said SAIC CEO Nazzic Keene, a five-time Wash100 Award winner.
Hageman most recently served as EVP, general counsel and corporate secretary of aviation component manufacturer Terran Orbital, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She also held senior-level legal positions during her nine-year career at CACI International, including as VP and principal deputy general counsel, and previously served as associate deputy general counsel at the Department of Defense.
