Henry Dubois, chief development officer at BlackSky Technology (NYSE: BKSY) since August 2021, has been appointed to serve as chief financial officer of the Herndon, Virginia-headquartered geospatial intelligence provider.
He succeeds Johan Broekhuysen, who resigned from the CFO post and will remain with BlackSky until Aug. 11 to help facilitate the transition process, the company said Wednesday.
Dubois joined BlackSky after the company completed its merger with Osprey Technology Acquisition nine months ago and managed corporate growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, in his CDO role.
The 30-year industry veteran previously served as CFO at GeoEye and held the positions of president and chief operating officer at DigitalGlobe.
