The U.S. Air Force has started seeking proposals for the third iteration of a non-personal services contract vehicle to support mission requirements for range operations, vehicle launches, port operations and the Space Launch Delta 45 mission.
The Cape Launch Operations and Infrastructure Support III contract will be a total small business set-aside acquisition program covering preventive maintenance, configuration management and maintenance engineering for systems, facilities, utilities and equipment in support of the U.S. Space Force, NASA, Department of the Army, Navy Ordnance Test Unit and the National Reconnaissance Office, according to a solicitation notice published Thursday.
CLOIS III also includes delivery of limited services at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida Annexes, Ascension Auxiliary Airfield and Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The service estimates the follow-on contract to have a ceiling value of approximately $489 million with an ordering period of nine years and six months, according to a presolicitation notice issued in March.
The Air Force will accept questions regarding the request for proposals no later than June 30.
Proposals for the CLOIS III contract are due July 18.
