Jason Fickett, a two-decade FBI veteran, was tapped by Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) to drive its national cyber strategy in support of civilian, defense and national security customers.
The firm said Monday Fickett will use his over 20 years of leadership experience in FBI operations to provide clients across its businesses with defense against cyber threats to U.S. critical infrastructure and federal assets.
Most recently, the executive was a section chief within the cyber division of the bureau, where he oversaw its logistics, facilities and budget. Training the FBI investigative workforce on cyber was also one his previous responsibilities.
Brad Medairy, executive vice president at Booz Allen, remarked on applying Fickett’s cyber expertise in supporting customers’ efforts to strengthen national cybersecurity and resiliency.
Fickett’s career also includes a two-decade service with the U.S. Navy Reserve.
