A.I. Solutions has secured a potential seven-year, $217 million contract from the U.S. Space Force for research and development services in support of the Space Systems Command’s Innovation and Prototyping Delta.
The Lanham, Maryland-based space software applications developer said it will work with its team consisting of Actalent, Boecore, Parsons (NYSE: PSN), KBR (NYSE: KBR) and LinQuest to provide SSC/SZI with on-console satellite operations support under the Prototype Operations I contract.
The team will assist in experimental satellite concept development, preparation, launch and testing, and will deliver technical support for research spacecraft operations and analysis efforts.
The POPS-I indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a five-year base period and two one-year extension options. Work will be conducted at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico and at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.
