Steve Ratner, a more than two-decade human resources leader, will join Mercury Systems (Nasdaq: MRCY) on May 2 to serve as senior vice president and chief HR officer.
He will report to Mark Aslett, president and CEO of Mercury Systems and a previous Wash100 awardee, as he oversees talent recruitment and retention efforts and supports business growth initiatives, the company said Thursday.
Ratner has the “experience and vision to help us attract, retain, and develop the best team in the industry while building on a culture grounded in our purpose, Innovation That Matters, By and For People Who Matter,” said Aslett.
Ratner will move to Mercury from Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX), where he is vice president of HR for the company’s missile defense segment. He previously served as VP of HR and security at Raytheon’s integrated defense systems.
He will bring to the role his decades of experience and expertise in HR strategy, employee engagement and compensation.
