BlackSky (NYSE: BKSY) has appointed former U.S. military officers Joseph Kernan, John Mulholland and Michael Dickey to the company’s newly formed advisory group.
They will advise the BlackSky leadership on business growth, technology investment and partnership matters, the geospatial services provider said Monday.
Kernan, a retired Navy vice admiral, served as undersecretary for intelligence at the Department of Defense, director of defense intelligence in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and commander of the Naval Special Warfare Command and U.S. 4th Fleet.
Mulholland is a retired Army lieutenant general and a career Special Forces officer. His previous roles included associate director of military affairs at the CIA and deputy commander of the Joint Special Operations Command and U.S. Special Operations Command.
Dickey, a retired Air Force colonel, is currently working as an independent consultant and previously held research and development leadership roles at the Air Force, Joint Staff and National Reconnaissance Office. He also served as chief architect for the Air Force Space Command.
