Innovative Scientific Solutions Inc. has won a potential $184.3 million contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory to study combustion and propulsion technologies for potential defense use.
ISSI will carry out research work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract at Wright-Patterson AF Base in Ohio and will receive $842,500 in incremental funds for the first task order, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The laboratory received four offers for the project and expects the company to finish services by April 20, 2030.
Dayton, Ohio-based ISSI develops measurement and instrumentation tools for fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, combustion analysis, pressure and temperature sensitive paints, shear stress sensors and timing and lens control systems.
