Software as a service company Hypori has secured an investment from David Petraeus, a retired U.S. Army general and former director of the CIA.
Jared Shepard, president and CEO of Hypori, said in a statement published Wednesday the support from Petraeus, who champions defense technological innovation, underscores the company’s efforts to provide defense and national security communities and other clients with secure access at the edge.
Petraeus, meanwhile, cited the potential of Hypori technology to help safeguard national infrastructure and business assets.
“In today’s world of aggressive criminal cyber threats, having a proven, zero-trust solution to protect both commercial and government interests by protecting data in transit or at rest will be of significant impact,” he added.
