The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers expects to spend between $200 million and $275 million for the construction of a maintenance facility for the B-21 Raider bomber’s weapon systems.
USACE said Friday in a SAM.gov notice it seeks market information to determine potential industry sources to carry out the Weapons Generation Facility project at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota.
The agency will use gathered input to inform the design-bid-build project’s upcoming solicitation. The future contractor will build the facility’s fire suppression system, pavements, communication systems and security forces fire team facility.
The project also provides for all associated utilities, an entry control point shelter, site modernization work and compliance needed to attain a nuclear design certification.
Interested parties may submit the requested market information through May 2.
