U.S. Special Operations Command has awarded $450 million in contract modifications to seven companies to provide military freefall and static line support services.
The modifications increase the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract’s ceiling value to $650 million and extend the performance period from five years to eight years, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
In August 2021, SOCOM selected ARNE Aviation, Construction Helicopter, Erickson, Marana Tactical Flight, Paraclete Aviation, Rampart Aviation and Win-Win Aviation to help address the military parachuting requirements of Naval Special Warfare Command across various sites within the continental U.S. under a five-year, $200 million contract.
The command received eight proposals through a competitive solicitation process for the multiple-award IDIQ contract, which includes an on-ramp language to open the vehicle to additional contractors.
