In a LinkedIn post, Chronis said she will be succeeded by Maggie Hallbach as head of the public sector at Verizon.
Chronis most recently served as senior VP of public sector at Verizon, where she led efforts to facilitate the delivery of technology platforms and services to federal, state and local government, education and public safety customers.
Prior to Verizon, she worked at Amazon Web Services and IBM (NYSE: IBM) and held leadership roles with a focus on providing technology support services to defense and federal civilian clients.
Chronis served in the U.S. Army for more than two decades and retired in 2010 with the rank of lieutenant colonel.
