Stephen Deitz, a 10-year ManTech (Nasdaq: MANT) veteran, has been promoted to executive vice president and general manager of the company’s federal civilian sector.
He will oversee strategic and operational growth strategies for the segment and report to Matt Tait, chief operating officer of ManTech, the company said Wednesday.
Deitz most recently served as senior VP of strategic operations and division manager for the company’s Department of Justice portfolio.
Tait highlighted Deitz’s decade-long career at ManTech, where he worked on customer requirements delivery, business wins and workforce engagement and advancement.
“I am confident that the combination of his leadership and customer insight will reap significant benefits for existing and new customers as well as the ManTech team that supports these missions,” Tait added.
The government market veteran initially joined ManTech as a program director in 2009 after a 10-year career at CSC where he developed and managed large service desk offerings for federal clients.
He left ManTech in 2011 to serve as COO of Zimmerman Associates and returned to the Herndon, Virginia-based technology contractor in 2014 as VP.
