A Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) subsidiary has received a potential five-year, $105 million contract to perform technical collection and communications work for U.S. Special Operations Command.

USSOCOM received two bids for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and selected Raytheon Blackbird Technologies to provide field service representatives to support the command’s special reconnaissance missions, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Work will occur in various U.S. and overseas locations and has an estimated completion date of March 31, 2027. The command will finance task orders under the IDIQ award using fiscal year 2022 operations and maintenance and procurement funds.

Raytheon Blackbird Technologies has provided secure communications systems, subject matter experts and situational awareness services to military, government, law enforcement and commercial customers for more than 20 years.
