A partnership between MFGS and Micro Focus aims to offer additional cybersecurity products to the government sector once the offerings receive approval under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
MFGS said Micro Focus’ CyberRes business is seeking FedRAMP certification to bring the ArcSight Intelligence, NetIQ Advanced Authentication, NetIQ Identity Governance and Voltage File Analysis Suite platforms to federal customers.
The Voltage File Analysis Suite is designed to protect sensitive business data and ArcSight Intelligence applies machine learning to accelerate security operations. NetIQ Identity Governance lets users run certification campaigns to support compliance, while NetIQ Advanced Authentication centralizes authentication functions into a unified framework.
Micro Focus secured authorization under the federal government’s cloud computing program in 2015 for the CyberRes Fortify, a managed security platform built to test applications.
âWe take the needs and requirements of our U.S. Public Sector, government agency customers very seriously,â said Robert J. Makheja, president of MFGS, Inc. âThese advancements from Micro Focus allow us to better support operational resilience in the federal space by providing increased security and data protection in the cloud.â
