Melissa Taylormoore, formerly vice president and deputy chief legal officer at Constellis, has been promoted to chief legal and compliance officer at the Herndon, Virginia-based risk management services provider.
She will be responsible for litigation, contracts, investigations, corporate governance, health and safety, ethics, environment and internal audit functions in her new role at Constellis, the company said Tuesday.
“Melissa has been an integral part of our Constellis team and a leader within the legal department for years,” said Constellis CEO Terry Ryan.
Ryan, a previous Wash100 Award winner, added that Taylormoore will oversee compliance and legal matters as part of Constellis’ executive management team.
Prior to joining Constellis in 2015, she worked at McGuireWoods as a partner within the law firm’s labor and employment group and performed counseling and internal investigations related to government contracts law.
