Tyto Athene seeks to expand its digital enterprise transformation and network modernization capabilities in support of defense and national security customers through its recently concluded acquisition of Qbase.
Chris Meilhammer, CEO of Tyto Athene, said in a statement published Wednesday Qbase brings over two decades of experience in supporting Department of Defense agencies and will help Tyto in its work with the Defense Information Systems Agency and Defense Health Agency.
Qbase has complementary capabilities to Tyto including digital modernization, technical services and next generation analytics. It supports customers across the DOD and national security sectors from its offices in Herndon, Virginia, and Beavercreek, Ohio.
Through the Qbase purchase, Tyto now holds a spot on the ENCORE III contract and other procurement vehicles.
The deal marks the second acquisition the Arlington Capital Partners company completed in less than a year. Tyto bought AT&T’s (NYSE: T) government solutions business in April 2021.
