Tim Braswell Named Chief People Officer of Spire Global

Tim Braswell, a 25-year human resources professional, has joined Spire Global (NYSE: SPIR) as chief people officer.

He will be responsible for Spire’s HR functions supporting 375 workers across the globe and spanning recruitment, talent development, health and wellness and employee systems, the space data provider said Tuesday.

Braswell previously held an eight-year career at financial services and insurance company MetLife

The newly appointed chief people officer led HR functions for global finance, risk management, internal audit, compliance and legal affairs leaders in his most recent role at MetLife (NYSE: MET).

His industry experience also includes HR leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ), Hughes Network Systems and Merck (NYSE: MRK).

Vienna, Virginia-based Spire, which went public in mid-August last year upon completion of the company’s merger with NavSight Holdings, offers space-based data products and analytics services.
